Accra:Former Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has declared her intention to participate in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary primaries for the Dome-Kwabenya constituency. This announcement marks her bid to return to a seat she previously held.

According to Ghana Web, Adwoa Safo's decision comes after extensive discussions with party leadership, executives, and other stakeholders, coupled with personal reflection. She plans to formally present herself for consideration as the NPP's parliamentary candidate once the party releases the timetable and guidelines for its primaries.

In her statement, Safo emphasized her loyalty to the principles and values of her political tradition and expressed her commitment to represent the Dome-Kwabenya constituency once more. She highlighted the importance of serving the constituency's population of over 200,000 people, recognizing it as a significant responsibility and honor.

Her decision is driven by a commitment to the community and a belief in her ability to contribute further to its development. She cited her 12 years of service as a Member of Parliament, during which she collaborated with various stakeholders to tackle developmental challenges in the area.
