Jakarta:Former Ashanti Regional Communications Officer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Yandoh, has expressed confidence that the party now has members capable of defending it against both verbal and physical attacks.
According to Ghana Web, Yandoh mentioned Barbara Asantewaa Kodua, associated with the Ghana Jollof TikTok account, and Kwadwo Fosu Boadu, known as Kojo Bamba, as individuals who could help the NPP counter what he described as intimidation from the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Yandoh emphasized that Ghana Jollof would be effective in responding to verbal assaults, while Bamba could offer protection against physical threats. He highlighted that these individuals would provide a sense of security for NPP members feeling threatened.
He remarked on the intimidation from the NDC, stating that now the NPP has members capable of fighting back, the opposition is complaining. Yandoh's comments come in the wake of Kojo Bamba's unexpected election as the 1st National Vice Chairman during the NPP primaries on October 3, 2026.
Bamba, with a background as a mechanic and former Delta Force leader, surpassed expectations to secure his position, finishing first among 13 candidates for three vice-chairmanship slots.
