Criss Waddle Criticizes Government Over La Pleasure Beach Demolition

Accra:Ghanaian musician Criss Waddle has voiced his disappointment with the government regarding the ongoing demolition at La Pleasure Beach.

According to Ghana Web, Criss Waddle suggested that the government could have pursued negotiations with the affected businesses, proposing that they pay a percentage of their income to the state. This revenue could then be used to purchase equipment for flood control in the area.

Criss Waddle emphasized the importance of replacing the demolished structures with something beneficial that could provide employment for those affected. He warned that failing to do so before the next election could lead the business owners and their employees to vote against the ruling party.
