Nigerian Singer Tems Announces Departure from Single Life

Lagos: Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has announced that she is no longer in search of love, a sentiment commonly expressed as 'leaving the streets'. The announcement was made during a TikTok livestream on Monday, where she shared her decision with her fans but did not provide further details.

According to Ghana Web, Tems explained her decision by expressing frustration with men who wasted her time. "I don't like it when guys waste my time. But for me, never again. I don't have that problem anymore. I have left the streets; I wouldn't even say I was ever on the streets," she stated. This move marks a significant personal milestone for the Grammy-winning artist, who has often been vocal about her experiences with men.

Tems has previously expressed her disappointment with the intentions of many men who approached her. In a conversation with YouTuber Korty EO last year, she lamented that most men were primarily interested in her appearance rather than seeking genuine and meaningful connections.
