Anidaso Mutual Fund PLC Reports 22.96% Surge in Investment Income

Kumasi: The Anidaso Mutual Fund (AMF) PLC has reported a notable increase in investment income, rising from GHC 457,916.00 in 2024 to GHS 563,064.00 in 2025, which marks a 22.96 percent growth. This improvement was driven by a rise in both interest and dividend income. Dividend income alone saw a significant jump from GHS 39,963.00 in 2024 to GHS 93,522.00 in 2025, while interest income increased from GHS 417,954.00 to GHS 469,542.00.

According to Ghana News Agency, Most Rev. Archbishop Prof. Daniel Yinka Sarfo, the Chairperson of AMF PLC, shared these updates at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Kumasi. The AGM provided a platform for shareholders to discuss the fund's performance and approve directors' remuneration. The fund's Net Income also saw a considerable increase of 31.14 percent, rising from GHS 229,037.00 in 2024 to GHS 300,360.00 in 2025.

Additionally, the Fund's Net Assets grew from GHS 4.27 million in 2024 to GHS 6.31 million in 2025, representing a growth of approximately 47.7 percent. The Net Asset Value (NAV) per share also increased by 27.2 percent, moving from GHS 1,3227.00 in 2024 to GHS 1,6820.00 in 2025. Rev. Yinka Sarfo emphasized the importance of these improvements as they reflect the value created for shareholders.

The chairperson also highlighted that proceeds from shares increased significantly from GHS 784,309.00 in 2024 to GHS 1,481,028.00 in 2025, along with encouraging growth in redemption. He assured stakeholders of the Board and Management's commitment to strengthening investor communication, enhancing service delivery, and broadening the investor base.

Rev. Yinka Sarfo stressed the importance of prudent cost management, strong investment performance, and efficient operations. He noted that the fund's management is focused on operational efficiency, technology, investor service, and maintaining high standards of corporate governance and accountability.

Mr. Edward Asamoah, AMF PLC Manager, commented on the improvement in the country's macroeconomic conditions in 2025, which contributed to a transition towards economic recovery and increased investor confidence. He mentioned the decline in inflation and the Ghana cedi's turnaround as significant developments for investors.

Mr. Asamoah also noted that strong market performance had a direct impact on AMF's investment portfolio, contributing to unrealized investment gains. He emphasized the fund managers' commitment to growing and deepening investor education and expanding their reach, using digital channels to support growth and focusing on shareholders' interests.
