Accra: Relationship counselor Counselor Perfect has shed light on the perceived attractiveness of 'bad boys' compared to good men, highlighting a common societal trend where some women favor men who exhibit rebellious or problematic behavior. This observation was shared during an interview on Joy Prime.
According to Ghana Web, Counselor Perfect explained that the perception of good men as boring contributes significantly to this preference. She noted that while good men exist, they often lack the allure associated with 'bad boys.' Counselor Perfect described a good man as someone who is considerate, prioritizes his partner, understands her, and avoids shaming or embarrassing her. He is also expected to maintain a healthy balance between his relationship and family dynamics, especially involving his mother and partner.
She further elaborated that a genuinely good man seeks to contribute positively to a woman's growth and wellbeing, rather than focusing solely on physical intimacy. Counselor Perfect emphasized that even if such relationships do not culminate in marriage, the experience should leave a lasting positive impact on the woman's life.
