Sefwi-wiawso: Mr Michael Aidoo, the Western North Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), along with other party executives, has initiated the construction of a state-of-the-art office in Sefwi-Wiawso to facilitate the party's operations.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr Aidoo highlighted the necessity of having a modern office to centralize the party's activities and bolster its presence and operations in the region. He stressed that the project is entirely funded by the party's resources, showcasing the dedication of the regional leadership and party members to enhance the NDC's infrastructure in Western North.
Mr Aidoo also expressed the party's commitment to reclaiming the Suaman Constituency parliamentary seat in the upcoming general elections. He assured that the party's leadership would exert all efforts to achieve this goal.
Mr Joseph Appiah, Akontombra District Chief Executive, representing the Municipal and District Chief Executives in the region, stated that upon completion, the office would offer a permanent and functional space for the party to coordinate its activities and effectively engage with key stakeholders and supporters.
The sod cutting ceremony was graced by the presence of all nine constituency chairmen from the region.
