Hohoe: Mr Prince Ellis Antsroe, the only candidate contesting the Chairmanship position in the Hohoe New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency executives' elections, has called for a united front in building the Party. He said the Constituency was the most vibrant in the region as far as the NPP was concerned.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr Antsroe, in an interview during his visit to the St Francis College of Education auditorium voting Centre, emphasized the need for a strong leadership to elevate the Party. He highlighted the importance of unity and expressed confidence in his ability to bring together both the old and young members to achieve the party's success.
Mr Antsroe urged other candidates to support the winners in their respective positions and called on all delegates and party members to unite after the results are declared. He pointed out that the National Democratic Congress had not fulfilled its promises to the Constituency, presenting an opportunity for the NPP to gain strength ahead of the 2028 elections with Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as President.
Mr Henry Ametefe, the Hohoe Constituency Director of Research and Elections of the Party, praised the peaceful conduct of the election exercise. He expressed hope that delegates would remain law abiding and respect the outcomes of the process. Despite a smooth start, the progress of the voting exercise had slowed down, although no glitches were recorded.
