Manasseh Azure Awuni Commends Ablakwa’s Impactful Leadership in Foreign Affairs

Accra: Investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni, has praised Ghana's Foreign Affairs Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, for what he described as an impactful performance in office.

According to Ghana Web, Manasseh Azure Awuni expressed his admiration for Ablakwa through a Facebook post, highlighting that the minister is demonstrating how a ministry can make a significant impact without heavily concentrating on procurement and projects. He emphasized that Ablakwa is playing a crucial role in helping Ghana reestablish its image as a leading voice on the African continent and among Black people worldwide.

Manasseh observed that some critics and political opponents might have anticipated Ablakwa's failure upon his appointment as minister, particularly due to his previous involvement in exposing alleged corruption and mismanagement during the prior administration. However, he suggested that many of those critics might now be quietly acknowledging his accomplishments.

The journalist also lauded the government's effective handling of a recent incident involving Israeli nationals who were reportedly refused entry into Ghana following a similar denial of entry to some Ghanaians in Israel. He remarked that such actions reassure citizens that their country will support them in times of adversity abroad, stating, "Nothing engenders patriotism more than knowing that your country will not abandon you when you get stranded."

Manasseh further urged for the same dedication and hard work to be mirrored across other ministries and sectors to aid in rebuilding the nation and restoring hope among Ghanaians. He applauded Ablakwa for his commitment and devotion to public service.
