Amsterdam: The Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI), in collaboration with RAM Media Concepts and the Ghana Netherlands Business and Culture Centre (GNBCC), has launched the second edition of the GhanaFest Europe Experience. This significant event is set to take place at the World Trade Centre in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from September 10-12, 2026, and is themed 'Value Addition and Sustainable Partnerships: Shaping the Future of Ghana-Netherlands Trade.'
According to Ghana Web, the event aims to introduce Ghanaian businesses to the European market, enhancing Ghana's global trade position by moving beyond raw material exports, focusing on value addition, and establishing equitable partnerships with international counterparts. Augustine Mark, Chief Executive Officer of RAM Media Concepts, emphasized the strategic choice of Amsterdam as the venue, aligning with the event's objectives.
Mark assured that comprehensive measures are in place to ensure participating Ghanaian businesses gain maximum benefits from the event. He highlighted the Netherlands as an ideal partner, given its status as a sophisticated trading nation, to advance Ghana's trade agenda. The planning committee has meticulously organized logistics, exhibitor onboarding, programming, and stakeholder engagement to ensure substantial value for all participants.
The expo is expected to engage key Dutch sectors such as agriculture, food processing, horticulture, building and construction, real estate, tourism, FinTech, pharmaceuticals, and technical innovations. This presents Ghanaian businesses with opportunities to access global trade and investment prospects, potentially driving economic development in Ghana.
Albert Abeiku Aggrey Santana, Deputy CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, expressed full support for the initiative, viewing the expo as a platform to showcase Ghana's tourism and investment potential. He reaffirmed the authority's commitment to global platforms like GhanaFest Europe, positioning Ghana as a preferred tourism destination and promoting tourism as an economic transformation driver.
