Aduana FC Extends Condolences to Berekum Chelsea and Frimpong Family

Dormaa-ahenkro: Dormaa-Ahenkro-based Aduana Football Club (FC) has expressed condolences to the Berekum Chelsea FC and the bereaved family of the late striker Dominic Frimpong.

According to Ghana News Agency, Frimpong died when armed robbers attacked the team's bus, which was returning from Samrebio after their encounter with Samartex FC in the Ghana Premier League. In a statement issued and signed by Mr. Evans Oppong, the Corporate Affairs and External Relations Manager of Aduana FC, the team expressed their deep sadness over the tragic incident.

A copy of the statement made available to the Ghana News Agency at Dormaa-Ahenkro read: "The team is heart-broken to learn of the passing of Dominic Frimpong, a player we loaned to Berekum Chelsea." The statement further described the event as a devastating loss to both clubs and Ghana football as a whole. It also extended deepest condolences to Frimpong's teammates, stating, "Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time."
