Accra: Stakeholders in the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and sustainability sectors from across the globe will gather in Accra for the inaugural International ESG and Sustainability Reporting Summit. The summit, under the theme 'Sustainable Growth: ESG Reporting, EU Taxonomy, and Strategic Pathways for Developing Economies,' aims to provide insights into the latest policy developments and regulatory requirements in the domain. According to Ghana News Agency, participants will also explore emerging trends and innovations in sustainability. A statement signed by Dr. Ing. Shelter Lotsu, Chairman of the Local Organising Committee, noted that participants will gain innovative technological strategies and best practices to address ESG sustainability challenges, enabling them to achieve sustainable growth and high returns in their respective economies. The key discussion topics will include Sustainable Growth Strategies for Developing Economies, Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability, and Gr een Finance and Energy Transition, among others. The event, organized by TSL Sustainability in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology, and Innovation, is expected to bring together renowned ESG professionals, researchers, and academics. Other expected attendees include corporate social responsibility experts, civil society organizations, international bodies, and development agencies from Africa and beyond.
