Ellembelle: Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, has donated 10 motorbikes valued at GHc167,000.00 to the Ellembelle District Health Directorate. The donation aims to facilitate medical outreach services in the remote areas of the Northern part of the district. According to Ghana News Agency, the donation was made during the commissioning of an ultra-modern CHPS Compound at Santaso in the Aiyinasi North. Mr Kofi Buah, who is seeking re-election in the upcoming Parliamentary election, highlighted the importance of the motorbikes in enabling the medical outreach team to access every corner of the district. Mr Kofi Buah further assured the community of his commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure, announcing plans to build a new CHPS Compound at Amanokrom and complete ongoing construction at the Fiasolo CHPS Compound. He emphasized his dedication to providing necessary health infrastructure and facilities to meet the healthcare needs of the residents. In addition to the m otorbikes, the MP contributed GHc65,000.00 for repairs on a broken-down ambulance, ensuring its readiness for emergencies. Dr Augustine Kwesi Amoako, the Ellembelle District Director of Health Services, praised Mr Kofi Buah for his significant contributions to the health sector. He expressed the health directorate's intention to work closely with the MP's office to achieve universal health standards by 2030.
