GOMOA ABONYI: Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson, the Minority Leader in Parliament, has issued a stern warning to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) members and supporters in Gomoa Central, urging them against engaging in split-ticket voting in the upcoming December 7 election. According to Ghana News Agency, Dr. Forson made these remarks during a meeting with local artisans at Gomoa Abonyi within the Gomoa Central Constituency of the Central Region. He emphasized the importance of voting uniformly for the NDC's Presidential Candidate, Mr. John Dramani Mahama, and the party's Parliamentary Candidate for Gomoa Central, Mr. Kwame Deen Yawson. Dr. Forson highlighted that the full support for NDC candidates is crucial for unlocking the untapped potential of the area and ensuring significant development under an NDC government starting January 2025. Furthermore, Dr. Forson cautioned the electorate against voting for any candidate other than the NDC's nominated representatives for both the presidential and parliame ntary elections. His appeal is part of a broader campaign strategy where he is joined by Mr. Sammy Gyamfi, the NDC's National Communications Officer, as they tour the Central Region to drum up support for their party's candidates.
