2,269 Fresh SHS Students in North Tongu Receive Support from Ablakwa

North tongu: The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has supported 2,269 newly admitted Senior High School (SHS) students from the North Tongu constituency with essential educational and personal supplies.

According to Ghana Web, Ablakwa announced the initiative in a Facebook post, highlighting that the annual donation aimed to ensure that no student was left behind as they commenced their secondary education. Each student received a package that included a chop box, mattress, and exercise books.

The initiative also extended to female beneficiaries, who received hygiene products such as tissues and sanitary pads. Additionally, 100 newly enrolled day students were provided with bicycles to aid their transportation to and from school.

Ablakwa expressed satisfaction with the continuation of the initiative, noting it as a tradition that improves annually. He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting students in the constituency and encouraged the beneficiaries to utilize the support to excel in their education. 'Go make us proud,' he emphasized.
