12th WCI Forum 2026 Concludes in Accra with Calls for African Leaders to Foster Youth Potential

Accra: The two-day 12th WCI Forum 2026 has concluded in Accra, urging African leaders to create environments conducive to young people developing their potential. Mr. Benard Ahiafor, the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, emphasized the role of technology in enabling a new generation of business leaders to create solutions, open markets, and drive economic transformation across Africa and globally.

According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Ahiafor highlighted the responsibility of African leaders to foster an environment that encourages innovation, rewards enterprise, invests in youth, and nurtures partnerships. He stressed that people are any nation's greatest asset, and the future depends on those who transform ideas into action.

Mr. Ahiafor noted the strengthened diplomatic relations between Ghana and Turkey, which have expanded trade, investment, and partnerships across various sectors. These collaborations not only transform economies but also create jobs, empower entrepreneurs, and strengthen local industries, contributing to a resilient economy and improved quality of life for citizens.

As Parliament continues its work, Mr. Ahiafor assured commitment to supporting policies that promote economic growth, attract investment, and deepen international cooperation. He remarked on the forum's significance as a platform for dialogue, innovation, and partnerships, unlocking new opportunities for trade, investment, and sustainable development.

Mr. Huseyin Gungor, the Turkish Ambassador to Ghana, highlighted Ghana's business potential and encouraged collaboration between small and medium enterprises and Turkish businesses. Mr. Anil Utku Bengisu, President of WCI, reflected on the forum's growth, from its humble beginnings to hosting nearly 100 Turkish business leaders this year. He invited Ghanaian businesses to future forums in Istanbul and Bursa, Turkey.

Mr. Emmanuel Kwashie Agbodzi, CEO of 10G GlobalTech Limited, emphasized the forum as an opportunity for fostering connections and building a better future through collaboration. He noted the rapidly changing world and the importance of partnerships in creating shared prosperity and sustainable economic growth.
