Senegalese Referee to handle Ghana/Ivory Coast clash

Accra,- Senegalese referee Douada Gueye has been appointed to officiate the international friendly match between Ghana and Cote D’ Ivoire at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Saturday.

The 37 year old would be assisted on the lines by compatriots Serigne Cheick Toure and Ngom Amadou Assistant.

Also, Ghana’s Latif Adaari would serve as the fourth official.

The Black Stars would play the Elephants of Ivory Coast on Saturday as the two teams continue their preparation for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in September this year.

Ghana lost 1-0 to Morocco in their first game on Tuesday while Ivory Coast defeated Burkina Faso 2-1 in a similar exercise.

The game is scheduled for 17:00kick off on Saturday.
