Our ambition is to win the league this season – Kotoko board member Kwadwo Boateng

A member of the board of Asante Kotoko, Kwadwo Boateng Genfi has reiterated that the club’s ambition is to be crowned champions at the end of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

After playing 28 matches this season, the Porcupine Warriors are second on the league table, tied on points [50] with rivals Hearts of Oak.

With just seven matches to go before the season ends, Kotoko board member Kwadwo Boateng says the motive of the club remains to win the Premier League title.

“We want to win the league and will do our best to win. It’s the ambition of the board and we will support the management to win,” the club board member told Oyerepa FM in an interview.

Meanwhile, board member Kwadwo Boateng Genfi has called for support for club CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah as he commends the young football administrator for the good work he is doing for Asante Kotoko.

“Nana Yaw Amponsah has done creditably well looking at the circumstances we find ourselves,” he noted.

For Asante Kotoko’s next match, the team is scheduled to take on Inter Allies FC in a matchday 29 encounter of the Ghana Premier League on Monday, June 14, 2021.
