Kevin-Prince Boateng set to completes move to Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin – Reports

Ghana international midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng is on the verge of returning to Hertha Berlin in the German Bundesliga this summer.

Boateng who plays for AC Monza in the Serie B parted ways with the Berlin-based club in 2007 to join English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.

According to a report filed by online portal Legalnsider, Boateng’s reunion with the German outfit should be completed this week as he will be undergoing medicals tomorrow (Wednesday) after which he could put pen to paper on the deal should he be given a clean bill of health after the health assessment.

The 32-year-old’s current deal with the Italian lower division side is due to expire later this month and will head for the exits on a free transfer.

Boateng has had stints with many clubs across Europe since bursting on to the scene as a professional footballer. He featured in 24 league games, scoring 5 and assisting 4 for AC Monza in the just ended Serie B league campaign.

Having been born and raised in Germany, the talented midfielder has been capped 15 times by Ghana at the international stage with 2 goals to his name after switching national allegiance to the West Africans in 2010.

Boateng played in the 2010 and the 2014 World Cup in South Africa and Brazil respectively.
