I expects Black Stars to beat Nigeria to qualify for 2022 World Cup – MND Jawula

Renowned and respected football administrator, MND Jawula says he expects the Black Stars to book a place in the 2022 World Cup.

Ghana, who were chasing their fifth continental title suffered an embarrassment at the just ended 2021 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] exiting the tournament at the group phase.

The Black Stars, however, will play their rivals, the Super Eagles in the playoff at the Cape Coast Stadium on March 24 before travelling to Abuja for the return leg on March 29 in the playoff.

Despite the difficult task, the renowned football administrator says he expects the Black Stars, who are four times African champions to book a place in the Mundial.

“We have a good technical team and I expect good results,” he said on GTV Sports Plus on Thursday.

“It is not going to be a simple game and I think at this point the football administrators should allow the Ghana Football Association to do their work,” he added.

Ghana will be hoping to book a place in the global showpiece later this year having missed out in the last edition in Russia in 2018.
