Here’s why you should consider small engine cars from CFAO Ghana

Brand Manager of Mitsubishi, CFAO Ghana Limited, Richard Fumey, has shared some pointers or advantages of buying smaller engine vehicles specifically the Mitsubishi and Suzuki brands from CFAO Ghana.

Although big cars are a luxury and also communicate indirectly a person’s financial level, Richard, speaking on eTV Ghana’s Men’s Lounge with host, Nana Yaw Odame, gave reasons why small consider are also a great choice for everyone.

Relating this to the economy today, he observed that a lot of people spend hours in traffic every morning to work and usually in the evening when on their way home and this is a lot of fuel spent in traffic.

He notified that for a young family man spending almost half of his salary every month on fuel is not the best idea and this is where the importance of small-engine cars comes to play.

Cars with smaller engines as we all know, consume less fuel and even as a plus, produce less carbon dioxide and therefore, should be a choice of priority if you also find yourself spending hours in traffic, burning away all the fuel in the big engine car.

“It is time we start focusing on buying cars with smaller engine sizes so we save fuel. This is where I want to invite you to start looking at the smaller vehicles we have at CFAO. Manufacturers are gradually moving from these huge engine-sized vehicles onto the smaller ones like 0.8L engine, 1.0L, 1.2L, 1.4L, 1,8L, 2.0L, and 2.4L engines”, the Brand Manager said.

He also added that “We have a lot of them in those vehicles in the Suzuki and the Mitsubishi ranges. We have Alto, Espresso, Celerio, Baleno and many others and the prices are very moderate so you’re able to save not only fuel but money as well”.

Further speaking on why people should consider cars with smaller engines, Richard explained that looking at the cost of owning these vehicles over a longer period, they are worth it because they can be maintained for years with proper and regular servicing.

CFAO Ghana is a subsidiary of CFAO Automotive, the largest automobile network in Africa and the overseas French territories. It is also the exclusive Ghanaian distributor for seven internationally renowned brands which are Citroen, Mitsubishi motors, Fuso, DAF trucks, Bridgestone, SYM, and Suzuki.
