Hearts of Oak’s energy level against Aduana Stars was poor – Elvis Herman Hesse

National Chapters Committee [NCC] chairman of Hearts of Oak, Elvis Herman Hesse has criticized the players for failing to hold onto their win against Aduana Stars.

The reigning Ghana Premier League champions were hoping to record their first win of the season against Ogya Lads having drawn in the last two games against Legon Cities and WAFA.

Kofi Kordzie broke the deadlock for the Phobians in the first half of the game.

However, Bright Adjei converted a spot-kick for the two times Ghana Premier League champions to end the game 1-1.

According to Mr Hesse, the team lost focus and failed to keep their energy throughout the game.

“We failed to stay focused against Aduana Stars and our energy level was poor but we will surely come good,” he said in an interview with Asempa FM.

“The agitations of the fans are welcomed but let us come together and rally behind the team because that is what the playing body needs,” he added.

Hearts of Oak sit 11th on the league log with 3 points.
