Modernghana Sports can report that the Ghanaian referee who collapsed during the match between Cote d’Ivoire and Ethiopia on Tuesday afternoon is now doing well.
Ghanaian referee Charles Bulu lost consciousness yesterday while refereeing the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying match between the Elephants and their counterpart from the East African country.
The scary incident happened in the 80th minute of the Group K encounter calling for the attention of the medical team on standby.
After gaining consciousness, the FIFA referee had to be stretched off and subsequently sent to the hospital for further examination.
Today, a picture provided by SaedCIV has confirmed that referee Charles Bulu is in a good condition.
He is captured in a hospital bed but with a big smile on his face. Although he remains under observation, sources say that the Ghanaian referee will be discharged within the next 24 hours.
