The head coach for Asante Kotoko, Mariano Barreto has set sight on improving his team more following a first win in charge of the club on Wednesday afternoon in the Ghana Premier League.
The Portuguese tactician was on the touchline yesterday and guided his Reds to a thumping 4-0 win against Bechem United at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.
Despite the impressive performance, coach Mariano Barreto says his team still needs to improve in other areas for the challenge ahead.
“They made good team today, there are many things that we have to improve and I know they are trying,” the Asante Kotoko head coach said in a post-match interview.
Coach Barreto continued, “Look, our best striker left and from the defense we have to improve little to be better, in the midfield Mudasiru is not completely fit and we have some problems in the team because we have about six players out before I come and some of them are key players.”
This weekend, Coach Mariano Barreto and his lads will take on Berekum Chelsea in a matchday 19 encounter in the Ghana Premier League.
