The Public Relations Officer for Hearts of Oak’s National Chapters Committee (NCC), Kobby Jones has urged fans not to hold head coach Samuel Boadu to ransom for the defeat to Dreams FC.
Although the young gaffer has impressed since joining the Phobians, his team is struggling to win consecutive matches.
Last Sunday after the capital-based club lost 2-0 to Dreams FC, some supporters have apportioned the blame to coach Samuel Boadu.
For NCC PRO Kobby Jones, the gaffer needs time and should not be blamed for the inconsistencies nor the latest defeat to the Still Believe lads.
“Injury and suspension have affected our team performance. Blaming it all on the coach technical team won’t solve the problem,” Kobby Jones told Sikka FM in an interview on Tuesday.
The team is placed 5th on the standings of the division after amassing 34 points from 22 matches.
Up next for the Phobians, they will face relegation-threatened King Faisal on matchday 23 of the Ghana Premier League.
