WordDigest: Restrain Your Tongue

“Two blind men were sitting beside the road, and when they heard that Jesus was coming that way, they began shouting, “Sir, King David’s Son, have mercy on us!” The crowd told them to be quiet, but they only yelled the louder. When Jesus came to the place where they were, he stopped in the road and called, “What do you want me to do for you?” “Sir,” they said, “we want to see!” Jesus was moved with pity for them and touched their eyes. And instantly they could see, and followed him.”

[Matthew 20:30-34]

Living Bible

Driving a car on a road from any part of the world requires focus.

The absence of focus can cause one from reaching his or her destination hence unwarranted accident.

Prior to that, traffic jams can prevent one from getting to his or her destination on time. But with focus and careful driving he or she might arrive safely.

The two blind men by the road side defiled all odds in search of their healing the moment they heard the name, Jesus.

Upon the yelling, frustrations, discouragements thrown at them, the blind men were resilient and focus on Jesus for their healing which of course happened. Why?

They treasured the name, Jesus Christ!

How do we value Jesus Christ?

When we hear Jesus, what comes into mind?

When you hear the name, Jesus, what do you do?

Treasure the name, Jesus, Hallelujah!

I am moving forward. By the resurrection power of Jesus Christ, i effect changes in my life through the application of God’s word, Praise the living Lord!
