“We would surprise Ampem Darkoa” – Savannah Ladies CEO

Accra – Mrs. Eunice Adiali, the Chief Executive Officer of Savannah Ladies, a lower division side, has indicated that, her team would be the surprise package this year’s Sanford Women’s FA Cup,.

Debutant Savannah Ladies have been drawn in the Sanford FA Cup with Ampem Darkoa Ladies, who are the defending Champions of the Women’s League in the Northern Zone.

Mrs Adiali, told the GNA Sports in an interview said that, it was a privilege for her team to play with Ampem Darkoa ladies, because there were a lot of lessons they would pick from them.

She nonetheless added that, they would surprise Ampem Darkoa Ladies even though they were considered as underdogs.

She further indicated that she has signed nine players from the National Women’s League to who would bring their experience in the topflight to bare.

I have been able to sign nine players who play in the National Women’s League and among them are Amina Damba, Abdulai Karima, Abigail Asamoah, Akriba Linda and the captain of the Northern Ladies Latifa Abdulai.

Mrs Adiali, said that she was positive that her team would play in the National Women’s League next season, adding that it would be disappointing if that doesn’t happen with the kind of players they have acquired.
