A visit to to Ghana by King Mohammed IV of Morocco, scheduled to begin Wednesday, has been postponed to a new date to be announced.
A statement issued here Wednesday by Eugene Arhin, the Acting Director of Communication at the Office of the President, said King Mohammed IV could not make the visit.
He said in a statement that a new date for the visit would be announced. No reason was given for the change in dates.
“Unfortunately, His Majesty King Mohammed VI has had to postpone his scheduled visit to Ghana. A new date for the visit will be communicated in due course,” the statement said.
King Mohammed’s visit was aimed at deepening the cordial relations between Ghana and Morocco, as well as seeking new areas of co-operation which would serve the mutual interests of the countries.
