Ghanaian video vixen, actress and socialite, Rosemond Alade Brown better known as Akuapem Poloo says there is no way she can ever stop twerking on social media.
Through twerking, the controversial actress revealed that she gets paid GHS5,000 and even more for her job.
This comes after she recently converted to Muslim where she was told to shun all the social media lifestyles and nudity if she truly wants to worship Islam.
“If I have a shop that I am running or go on set constantly, do you think I will come on social media to twerk on it and the person will give me GH5000? Someone will sit at home and insult me for doing something that gets me paid,” she said.
Akuapem Poloo stated in an exclusive interview with Kofi TV that she is not the only one who twerks because female musicians such as Wendy Shay also twerk on stage.
“Everybody is twerking, musicians twerk, Wendy Shay twerks when she is performing. Is twerking a sin? Where in the Quran or the bible have they said twerking is a sin?” furious Akuapem Poloo asked the show host.
She emphasized that even Indians and some Muslims twerk, so no one should bother her about it because it is not a sin.
“Have you gone to Muslim gatherings before like awurey before? So no one should criticize me, twerking is not a sin, I am no more going to expose myself but don’t criticize if I am dancing because it’s not nude,” she emphasised.
