SAVELUGU: Touch Lives Foundation has launched the Touch Lives Football Academy in Savelugu Municipality in the Northern region, supported by Girls’ Care and De Bruel School, to bring school dropouts back into the classroom through the game of football. Mr. Francis Kofi Taylor, the Founder of Touch Lives Foundation, stated that the establishment of the academy aims to identify talent among students and help them achieve their future goals.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Taylor emphasized that the football academy would assist students in developing healthy habits and encourage an active lifestyle from an early age. He highlighted that students would learn to work together towards a common goal, understanding the importance of cooperation and collaboration. Additionally, football provides an outlet for self-expression and emotional well-being, allowing students to manage stress and build confidence.
