Toptech Ghana donates security equipment to Christ the King Church

Accra- Mr Cecil Garbrah, the Chief Executive Officer of Toptech Transport and Logistics, has donated three sets of walkie talkies and a metal detector scanner to Christ the King Catholic church in Accra.

The initiative was in line with the new security measures of the Catholic Church to fight robberies and terrorism in the country.

Mr Garbrah said the donation was necessitated due to increase in terrorist attacks in neighboring countries, claiming lives of people and putting the country’s security under serious threat.

Mr Garbrah, who is also a Security Consultant working with the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra said his outfit in collaboration with the Chemical and Biological Weapons Department of the Police Service had completed a special training session with ushers of Christ the King Catholic Church to boost up security measures at the church.

The participants were trained in terrorism and security, terrorism policing, terrorism intelligence and terrorism and the use of chemical biological, radiological and nuclear explosives.

Receiving the items, Reverend Father Andrew Campbell, the Parish Priest of Christ the King Catholic Church, commended Toptech for the kind gesture in ensuring safety and security in the church.

He urged all churches to be concerned about their security and institute preventive measures to avert any unforeseen attacks.
