Tema, Nov. 26, GNA-Mr Yohane Amarh Ashitey, the Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) has commended Mr Ian Okwei, TDC Protocol and Administrative Officer of TDC Development Company Limited for initiating developmental projects in the Metropolis.
The Tema MCE made the commendation during his inspection of some electoral areas where he saw the construction of a footbridge as well as an adjoining storm drain linking Tema Community Seven to the GTP area.
The project, was singlehandedly and constructed by Mr Okwei who is also a resident of Tema as communal service to the residents of Tema Community Seven.
Mr Ashitey, was particularly overwhelmed by a green park that was currently constructed by Mr Okwei as a way of promoting the “operation clean your frontage exercise”.
He added that in line with his vision to make “Tema Shine again”, he would vigorous pursue operation clean and beautify the City as a component of “operation clean your frontage”.
