Tanzanian side, Azam FC have completed the signing of former Bechem United goalkeeper, Abdulai Iddrisu.
Iddrisu has signed a two-year deal with the side after leaving the Ghana Premier League side.
Iddrisu was part of Black Galaxies’ squad for the 2023 CHAN tournament in Algeria but will not be eligible to play following his move to Azam FC.
He came through the limelight after his consistent spectacular performance in the 2021/22 season with the Hunters, making him one of the best on the local scene.
The 25-year-old made an impressive 18 clean sheets in 31 games for Bechem United last season in the Ghana Premier League and was indispensable in their run to the MTN FA Cup finals.
Iddrisu kept three clean sheets in eight games for the 2016 FA Cup champions so far in the ongoing campaign.
Azam are currently sitting 3rd on the league log with 40 points, with Abdulai Iddrisu hoping to make his debut against Tanzania Prisons on Monday, January 16, 2023.
