Sarkodie has termed his latest feature with the legendary late reggae icon, Bob Marley’s team as a blessing.

Reacting to a flier from Bob Marley’s team on social media, which announced the song, the “Countryside” hitmaker averred that the feature is the biggest in his life and a good way to start 2023.

“What a way to kick start this year!!! Definitely one of the highest moments in my career/Life… Big shouts to the team at island records @akosuas__ @Jaykjs and the Marley family for getting me on this amazing project by the legend #bobmarley… such a blessing to lay my vocals right next to the original vocals of the Gong…” he reacted.

Born Michael Owusu Addo, the Ghanaian music landlord has earned for himself a new record-breaking feature with the late legendary Bob Marley’s camp.

The most decorated African rapper has been featured on the new version of the reggae icon’s “Stir It Up” track.

The original track of the yet-to-be-released remix was done by Bob Marley and the Wailers in 1973, which still remains relevant in recent times.

With the feature, the record-holding African rapper has extended his accolades to become the first African rapper to achieve that feat.

The track comes out on Friday. January 20, which confirms the earlier comment from his camp about doing a feature with an artist who is bigger than American rapper Jay-Z.
