Sunyani: The Reverend Dennis Sasu, Pastor of the Sunyani East Industrial District of the Church of Pentecost, has called on Ghanaians to support and pray for President John Dramani Mahama as he embarks on the nation’s ‘resetting agenda.’ Rev Sasu emphasized the importance of divine guidance in the President’s efforts to improve the country’s economic situation and create a better society for all.
According to Ghana News Agency, Rev Sasu highlighted the necessity of absolute faith in God when addressing the nation’s socio-economic challenges. He urged Christians to become spiritually awakened and offer prayers for the President and his ministers. Rev Sasu emphasized that in times of uncertainty, the President needs to rely on God for wisdom and strength.
Rev Sasu further explained that the reset agenda is not just a political or economic initiative but a spiritual journey requiring the collective faith and action of all citizens. He noted that the agenda aims to revitalize the nation’s economy, enhance governance structures, and address issues such as unemployment, corruption, and infrastructure development.
The Reverend pointed out that achieving these goals requires continuous prayers, hard work, active community service, and collective participation in national development efforts. He called on Christians to serve as a guiding light towards a prosperous future and urged the Christian community to inspire change, foster unity, and support the government in building a prosperous nation for future generations.
