Reverend calls on President to approach governance with Unity
Tanoso (Ash), Reverend Kwadwo Ofori Antwi, the Tanoso District Minister of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) has called on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to approach governance with united front to build the nation.
He said: We need unity of mind and purpose for our nation to enjoy socio-economic and political transformation. The New Patriotic Party (NPP) government must lead the crusade against political, tribal, ethnic and religious differences and ensure a united front to effective nation building.
Rev Ofori Antwi made the call in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Tanoso.
He said it was time for the nation to move from partisanship to a more objective and constructive way of steering the nation to progress, development and prosperity.
Rev Ofori Antwi, who is also the Senior Minister of the Lighthouse Congregation of the PCG at Tanoso near Kumasi, urged Ghanaians to leave the past behind them and surge forward in the New Year with hope and diligence.
Let’s leave the bitterness and disruption in the past year and begin the New Year with hope. We should shun our evil and corrupt ways and seek the face of God at all times and in all things and be agents of God’s blessings not agents of division and rancour, he admonished
