Tema, Plan B FM, a commercial radio station, has launched its maiden edition of the inter-community soccer gala challenge to unravel potentials, create opportunities, and network forums for the youth in the country.
Mr. Martin Asare-Anaigyei, Chief Executive Officer of Plan B said the tournament which had been slated between August 5 to 7 and 12 to 14 2022, at the Tema Sports Stadium would engage 32 teams from the Greater Accra Region, Volta, and the Eastern Region among others.?
? He said it would be held annually and mentioned that the two-weekend events would expose the players to stakeholders and individuals who could help them to unearth their talents and potentials.?
Mr. Asare-Anaigyei, who is also the chairman of FreeMinds Communication Company Limited noted that the winning team would take home a trophy, medals, and cash as its prize while the second-placed team would have a silver trophy, silver medals as well as cash. The third-placed team would get bronze medals, as their price.?
? Mr. Sebastian Banks, Chairman of the occasion, urged the participants to give out their best in the competition.?
