The defeated National Chairman of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has announced the dissolution of his Chairman for Chairman (C4C) campaign team for last Saturday, December 17, National Delegates’ Congress held at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The dissolution of the campaign team took effect on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, a statement has announced.
Mr Ampofo in the statement said even though C4C could not achieve the ultimate, “we are filled with a sense of pride about the exemplary discipline, loyalty, commitment and sacrifice that was demonstrated by all team members and loyal supporters.”
Mr Ofosu Ampofo used the opportunity to inform members of the C4C campaign team as well as the NDC fraternity and the general public of the dissolution of the campaign team.
He consequently urged all members of the team to redirect their energies towards the endorsement of the former president John Dramani Mahama, the presumptive flagbearer of the NDC, and work with all executive members for an NDC victory in the 2024 elections
