Odeneho heads Ashanti NPP Constituency Chairmen Association
Kumasi, The Ashanti Regional Constituency Chairmen Association of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has elected Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, as its Chairman.
The other officers are Mr. Patrick Adu Gyamfi, Vice Chairman, Mr Samuel Antwi Boasiako, Secretary, Mr. Akwasi Nti Asamoah, Organizer, and Mr. Aikins Addai Poku, Treasurer, with Mr Yaw Bonna Boadi and Mr. Kwabena Ameyaw as Advisors.
The association comprises of all chairmen in the 47 constituencies in the region.
Odeneho Appiah said the goal was to ensure that things were done in a way that would promote peace in the party.
He said it was important to make sure that the governing party emerged stronger and more united after its upcoming internal elections.
The association, he said, was eager to see that there were not any needless and unhealthy turf fight in any part of the region ahead of the elections.
Odeneho Appiah added that this required that they worked closely with the party structures at all levels so that laid down procedures were upheld for smooth conduct of the polls.
He gave assurance of quick resolution of all internal grievances to give confidence to the party members.
He said they would also work hard to support the successful implementation of the government’s policies and programmes and to keep the party members adequately informed of these policies and programmes.
He called for all to unite solidly behind the government as it took steps to transform the economy – build a society that worked for everybody.
