Nyanyano Bussangas Chief out doored
Gomoa Nyanyano (C/R), Alhaji Bayire Zak I, Chief of Bissa (Bussanga) community in Gomoa Nyanyano has been officially outdoored with a call on him to work hard to better the lot of his people.
Chief Moro Baba Issah, Public Relations Officer of the National Council of Zongo Chiefs, who was the the Guest of Honour, made the call in his address at the durbar held at Nyanyano.
He urged Alhaji Bayire Zak I, not to lord over his people but rather open his doors to fruitful suggestions and ideas to enable him to perform creditably to his people.
Chief Alhaji Zak I, a 55-year old businessman was taken through all the necessary traditional and customaries rites leading to his official confirmation as Chief of Bissa Community in Gomoa Nyanyano, near Kasoa.
Earlier in the day, prayers were said for him at his residency before taking the oath of office at the durbar grounds administered by Abubakar Mallam Maigaisuwa of the Grater Accra Bussangas Community.
Sheikh Tajudeen, Chief Imam of Kasoa and Nyanyano Zongo Community led the people at the ceremony in prayer for Allah to lead and guide Chief Zak to enable him to serve Bussangas and the community as a whole.
Later in an interview with the Ghana News Agency, Chief Alhaji Zak said, his goals are to foster good relationship between Bussangas and other tribes living in and around Nyanyano.
Chief Zak I said he will collaborate with the elders to tackle problems of education and health care services for his people, especially the youth, to enable them to become useful citizens in the society.
A 12 member council of elders headed by Issah Seidu Yankie was also inducted into office to support Chief Zak.
The programme was graced by the National Bissa Council of Elders and other tribal Chiefs from Greater Accra and Central Regions.
