The first vice chairman of the NPP-Japan branch, Mr. Awuah Michael has asked delegates of Bono East to elect good leaders who have the party at heart in the upcoming regional elections.
He alleged that the opposition NDC is nicodemusly sponsoring their allies within the party.
“Most times, the opposition party do sponsor some candidate with the aim of wining power and go against the NPP party policies that will affect the government’s work and the citizens especially, Bono East.
“I urge all candidates to be very vigilant and make sure they choose the right person in the chairmanships race because, the opposition party which is the NDC is sponsoring one of their candidates”, he stated.
He added, “Huge amount of money will be shared from these people just to win the election, remember is not from their pocket, but from the opposition party.
“We know them so, we shouldn’t make any mistake to vote for them otherwise we will lose the 2024 general election. We want leaders who are energetic, dedicated, loyal, selfless and party members as well, but to vote for someone who is a member of the opposition party NDC but In the NPP just to send or destroy things and bring the party down.
“I plead that the election should be peaceful and calm but not fight because it’s internal and this will tell us how we are prepared to face the general election in 2024.”
