The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced that there will be a series of activities undertaken next month as part of the commemoration of the June 4th uprising.
The commemoration will be marked together with the 30th-anniversary celebration of the opposition party.
The three-day celebration will be under the theme “NDC@ 30: Development our Goal”.
Day one which will fall on Saturday, June 4, 2022, will be celebrated in all Regions and Constituencies of the party with Clean up exercises. The National celebration will be observed in the Nkwanta South Constituency in the Oti Region.
Day two dubbed ‘Recognition Day Wednesday’ will be marked on June 8, 2022. The day is set to be marked in all Regions and Constituencies with presentations of certificates in recognition of the purposeful commitment, selflessness, and dedication of Cadres and Party faithfuls towards the formation of our great NDC party.
To climax the celebrations, the NDC will hold a symposium in Accra at the GNAT Hall on Friday, June 10, 2022.
All activities have been approved by the Functional Executive Committee (FEC) of the National Democratic Congress at its meeting on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.
