Mr. Wiedong highlighted that political engagement should focus on development and that actions such as insults and defacing political materials do not contribute to electoral success. He reminded the youth of their constitutional obligation to promote national unity and cautioned them against indiscipline, which could threaten peaceful coexistence during the election period.

Furthermore, Mr. Wiedong warned that any violations of electoral laws would be met with appropriate consequences, regardless of an individual’s status or influence. Reinforcing this message, Mr. Ali Darijan Habib, a Civic Education Officer with the Wa East NCCE office, encouraged the youth to maintain peace and avoid activities that could disrupt the district’s
stability. He emphasized that peaceful coexistence is a shared responsibility and called for collective efforts in peace-building initiatives.

Participants in the games expressed their gratitude to the NCCE and assured their commitment to non-violent campaign activities, aiming to preserve the district’s cherished peace.
