Accra: Mrs Adelaide Siaw Agyepong, Chief Executive Officer of the Asian African Consortium (AAC), has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Advanced Studies in Entrepreneurship. The accolade was conferred by Azteca University and Cardinal Training Academy during a ceremony held in Accra, acknowledging her significant contributions to entrepreneurship and socio-economic development.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mrs Siaw Agyepong also received a Certificate in Strategic Leadership from the Swiss School of Business and Research, as well as a Certificate in Effective Communication Skills from Cardinal Training Academy. During the award presentation, Mrs Siaw Agyepong expressed gratitude to her family, friends, and colleagues and dedicated her achievements to entrepreneurs and leaders endeavoring to make a positive impact in their communities.
In her acceptance remarks, Mrs Siaw Agyepong stated that the recognition serves as a reminder for her to strive for greater impact. She emphasized the importance
for entrepreneurs and leaders to overcome challenges, innovate boldly, and contribute meaningfully to their communities and beyond. Furthermore, she expressed appreciation to Azteca University, Cardinal Training Academy, and Dr. Mavis Bermudez, encouraging others to pursue leadership driven by purpose and a legacy of positive change.
The AAC, under Mrs Siaw Agyepong’s leadership, is pioneering a large-scale commercial rice project in Ghana. This initiative is focused on fostering economic growth, sustainability, and women’s empowerment through local rice production. The company has established commercial agreements with farmers nationwide, collaborating with leading rice-producing countries such as the USA, Thailand, China, Vietnam, Japan, India, and the Philippines.
