McDan rescues GTF again

Accra- McDan Group has cleared outstanding affiliation fee owed by Ghana Tennis Federation (GTF) to the international body.

Dr Daniel McKorley, McDan Group Executive Chairman presenting a cheque for $ 17,378 at his plush East Legon residence as of his outfits efforts to ensure the growth of tennis in the country.

He charged the Federation to roll out plans to clinch more silverwares saying, I want to see Ghana win more trophies. The coming years would be exciting for Ghana tennis. McDan is a results oriented company, whatever we touch succeeds. I thank the Federation for all who are making the sport what it is today.

Mr. Isaac Aboagye-Duah president of Ghana Tennis Federation (GTF), expressed thanks to the McDan chief for the gesture.

In 2015, the shipping and logistics giants bailed out the Federation from same financial predicament.

McDan has been sponsoring the McDan West Africa Open Tennis championship for five years.

Last year, Mcdan donated a brand new Mercedes Benz bus to the Federation as well as offered educational sponsorship to eight tennis players.
