Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, a Ghanaian actor and comedian, recently slammed Tiktok Stars for alleged disrespect.

There was a recent controversy in which some Tiktokers were accused of mocking Ghanaian media practitioner and veteran actress Nana Ama McBrown.

In his quest to defend his colleague, enraged Lil Win blasted them (Tiktokers), telling them to be silent because they are not celebrities.

Felicia Osei, one of Ghana’s fastest-rising Tiktokers expressed shock at the news in an interview with Zion Felix, a Ghanaian entertainment and lifestyle blogger.

She couldn’t understand why a grown man like Lil Win claims would waste his time worrying about whether “small children” Tiktokers were celebrities or not.

“I was very surprised when I heard it. I wondered if one of us had offended him because we cannot disrespect a senior man like that. So why is it that small children have not wronged you and a grown man, if you had given birth early, he could have given birth to us, say those things?

“But what can you do? He may have his reasons. I won’t blame him much because he may have said it just to trend. So it’s not an issue for me,” she said.

Tiktokers, according to Felicia, would not retaliate because someone more experienced in the industry than Lil Win may also question whether or not he is a celebrity.

“Even if we are not stars, we are well-recognised people in society. Someone will also say that Kwadwo Nkansah is not a star. No matter who you are, someone will not put you on that level. So if he doesn’t see us as stars. Definitely, someone somewhere sees us as stars,” Felicia stated.
