Prince Kamal Gumah, one of the Aspiring Youth organizers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who lost in the just ended election has today expressed appreciation to the winner Salam Mustapha.

He also declared his readiness to ensure they work together to ‘break the 8.’

Gumah discloses this in an interview with the media to express his heartfelt gratitude to delegates who voted for him.

He, therefore, expresses appreciation to Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson for her massive support.

“I want to show my appreciation to the New patriotic party and the election committee and most important to the winner of the National youth organiser Salam Mohammed Mustapha, and other aspirants Abanga Fusani Yakubu and Michael Osei Boateng and to other portfolios in the contest both losers and winners. I prince Kamal Gumah will like to reconfirm my commitment to the NPP breaking the 8. In this election, we started and we wanted to win but Allah knows best and trusts me, team PKG we are very grateful.

“I congratulate Salam Mustapha, I visited him in his house in the early hours of today (Monday) and congratulate him again. I want the whole party to know that I’m committed to breaking the 8. I will work with everybody as long as your idea is to break the 8. NPP as a party has done a lot for the youth of this country that we can’t afford to go to the opposition. I’m willing to be there at any time, any day, and as promised Salam the Winner; my brother my doors are open any day when it comes to working for NPP to break the 8 I’m there for you my brother.

“I do not have a doubt, that this election was free and fair, the numbers that voted for me were the people who feel that I can do the job and the numbers that Salam Mustapha got to win were those who feel Salam is more competent to do the job.

“My thanks go to President H.E. Nana Akufo Addo, the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, my big sister Hon. Hawa Koomson, Hon. Francis Asenso Boakye, thank you for being there for me, and to all the delegates and members thank you for the opportunity; I’m much grateful”, he stated.
