One of Ghana’s youngest rap veterans, Nii Addo Quaynor, better known as Tinny, has reacted to people’s notion about him being a bad guy.
Tinny revealed that he becomes very enthused and appreciative whenever he hears people referring to him as a bad guy.
The rapper, who has been going after several industry players, including his junior colleague Stonebwoy, in an interview with Andy Dosty on his Daybreak Hitz on Thursday, August 25, explained that he becomes recognized and relevant when people talk about him.
“I feel good when people say I am ‘too-known’, I dey rush. It means they recognize me.
“They should talk about me. I am not the one to talk about them. I prefer they talk about me every time,” he said.
He further explained that he is not pushed when labelled “arrogant” and “too-known,” because to him, it is not clear why people will always want to tarnish his image.
“I don’t even know what I do to merit that tag. People I have never met before – people who do now know me say all those things. That is what they say but I care less. I am me [Tinny]. I can’t force people to say otherwise,” he clarified.
