Ghana legend, James Kuuku Dadzie has lauded the late Brazil football legend, Pele, describing him as an immensely gifted player.

The Santos FC legend passed away last week at the age of 82 and was laid to rest on Wednesday.

“Pele was a gifted player and he was so creative you couldn’t believe it and that is football,” he told Citi Sports.

“His creativity was immense…you could see that he had the technique; Pele had those qualities,” Dadzie won the 1978 African Cup of Nations with the Black Stars added.

Pele was buried at a skyscraper cemetery overlooking the Santos Stadium where he starred for the Santos FC in the 1960s and 1970s.

With Santos, Pele won the Copa Libertadores twice in 1962 and 1963 and won the Intercontinental Cup in those same years.

On the international stage, Pele featured on three World Cup-winning Brazilian teams in 1958, 1962 and 1970 starring in the 1958 and 1970 editions.
