God grant me strength to stand up to anybody who tries to do ‘yawa’ in next NDC gov’t – Sam George

General

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo Prampram, Samuel Nartey George says he prays God gives him the strength to stand up to anyone in the next National Democratic Congress (NDC) government that will try to mess up [do yawa].

In a post on his Twitter page, the outspoken Parliamentarian prays that God helps him to stay vociferous even after his party wrestles power from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) after the next general elections for the sake of the citizenry.

“Dear GOD, The way I have seen the NPP pipos do yawa nu after all d things they tweeted in opposition, please give me d grace & strength to stand up to anybody in the next NDC govt who tries to do yawa.

“Make me d conscience of d Party even in power. For our people’s sake. Amen,” Sam George shared in a post.

Just like all MPs on the Minority side of Parliament, Sam George is of the view that officials of government have failed and plunged the country into the financial crisis it finds itself in.

In the past week, the government led by President Akufo-Addo and his Vice, Dr. Bawumia have been accused of incompetently mismanaging the economic affairs of the country.

The Minority says it is because of the incompetence and recklessness in managing the resources of the country that has forced the government to run to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to seek support.
